Four truths and a lie
(Via Lainey)

  1. I was reading Jane Eyre, Count of Monte Cristo and Don Quixote by the time I was eight.

  2. I met Katie Couric one year in Lexington, Kentucky. She was there for the Derby; I was there for a business conference.

  3. I have never had any piano lessons but I can replay any piece of music I hear, though I cannot read music.
  4. For about a year, I was the mistress of a Lebanese noble, who showered me in platinum jewelry and Chanel Allure.

  5. I eloped to Vegas when I was six months pregnant.

So how well do you know me? Try your luck, see if you can spot the lie!

The piano part is the lie.

That's my guess too, but maybe just because I never figured out how to tap anything besides 'chopsticks', despite the fact that I could read music.
I can play 'happy b.d' and 'smoke on the water' on the guitar though :)

Hmm, I was going to guess the Lebanese businessman, but only because I couldn't imagine Annie calling herself anyone's "mistress", LOL!

Oh, and Lainey, sounds like you and my 9yo son could have a jam session. Every instrument he's ever learned (piano, guitar, and clarinet to date), the FIRST thing he does is figure out how to play Smoke on the Water.

Lovelysalome is right. I've had piano lessons and I can read music and I can't play anything by ear. I play badly by the way. My hands are too small to stretch an octave.

I figured that at some point during our discussion of my MS, you would've mentioned some amazing musical aptitude :)

Yep, exactly. Remind me to tell you the story of the nobleman someday.
