Just ask this monkey. He's been hanging around his tree all day, waiting for some exciting shit to happen, and he's still waiting.
I had a big old long
whine rant on this subject ready to go, and then I reread it, and realized it stank of authentic authorial panic, so I sent it to
Bam instead. She has now encouraged me / told me off (the lines often blur with her) and I feel a lot less like eating a pot pie and refusing to leave the house for a week.
So I'll just leave the title as the complete encapsulation of my current state. Waiting sucks.

I'm with you! Waiting sucks. But sometimes, there's nothing else you can do but wait.
First thing in the morning, Bonnie, the monkey wins, no contest. Hehe.
And...
The wait is over. Watch this space in the next week or so for details.
SQUEE!
You KNOW I am dying here!!!!
I am so stealing that, April. That's AWESOME.
Erica... keep an eye on the blog, girl. I said all I intend to say. For now. ;)
Keira, the first monkey represented my outlook earlier today.
This is me now.
and wait
and wait some more and then you wait again.
Oh sure, you talk yourself into believing you don't even remember there's a manuscript out there! You're so busy writing and living your life you hadn't even thought of that book you worked your ass off writing. Snort. Not so much.
I hope you hear good news very soon.
That's it. Scooch faaaaaar over. Because I'm not sitting anywhere near the scary monkey. Look at his eyes. *_* He's evil, I tell you. *shivers*
