poetry in motion

One of my poems is going to be published in Italy in an anthology, and they will send me a copy when it comes out. Go me!

Just subbed some erotic poems to Clean Sheets last night. A verdict will take six weeks. The reason I’m doing it is that I can’t place fiction without my agent, but maybe I can generate interest via poetry. I want to feel like I’m doing something to get my name out there.

Which one? Maybe I’ll see it on the stands. There’s a tabaccaria just a couple blocks down from my house.

I’d have to check the contract, Michele, but it’s sort of a moot point. I don’t have any short stories.

Lorelie, it’s called The Sound of Silence. (I know, tres Garfunkel). It might be as big a scam as Poetry.com, but I didn’t pay anything and they’re sending me a copy free, so it doesn’t seem to be.

On Thursday I’m going to LA for fun and research. Mostly fun. Oh, the fun… Among other things I’m going to visit some places that are featured in Your Alibi, including Tito’s Tacos.
