| 13 things I don’t do anymore
1. Eat raw cookie dough. 2. Argue with crazy people. 3. Waste time on the Internet. 4. Resent spending time with my kids when I need to be writing. 5. Take things for granted. 6. Have multiple piercings. 7. Dye my hair on a whim. 8. Key someone’s car in the parking lot if they’ve pissed me off. 9. Wear socks. 10. Spend hours and hours browsing in bookstores. 11. Feel intimidated by people I perceive as more successful. I’ll get there, just give me time. 12. Regret anything. Life is too short. Sure, we’ve all made bad calls, taken the stupid road, but I’m happy where I am. 13. Try to change the world. I can’t do it by myself, so I’ll do what I can to make a difference. Speaking of which, I need to get cracking on my Nothing But Red submission. |

I have stopped with the dying of my hair on a whim to0. I decided that after I dyed it black, and it took letting it grow out to get it to go away.
I could’ve added, I don’t wear black lipstick anymore, don’t paint my fingernails / toenails black anymore… don’t wear torn black fishnets and combat boots…
The list goes on. I’m getting old! And I don’t mind too much.
I still browse bookstores for hours. [grin]
Great TT – your books look awesome! I’m glad I found your site.
Interesting list. I have to ask though, why no socks? Happy TT.
And I still browse the bookstores *g*.
I wish I could, but there are no BNs or Borders here. God, I loved spending a whole day in the store. Just looking at books. And then I’d spend a scary amount of money and head over to the cafe with my booty to peruse the books at my leisure. I killed eight hours once that way.
That’s one of my “don’t do anymore”s that I miss.
Oh, well, it’s warm here all the time. And I hated socks when I lived in Indiana. So I just wear sandals all the time, now that I live in Mexico.
LOL Nice list. I don’t do some of those – still do the bookstore thing. Never did the key someone’s car thing. Stopped dying my hair, and painting my nails… wish I could forego socks, but not in Philadelphia, at least, come January… LOL
I miss raw cookie dough, sigh.
I also miss having the time to browse through bookstores.
I’m with you on number two. I don’t even like to talk to crazy people.
I wish I could be with you on number three. But alas I can’t seem to stop wasting time on the internet… *SIGH*
Gwyneth
I have to ask why you gave up raw cookie dough.
