I suppose the whole post could’ve been summed up with: call me Ann or Annie, whichever. It’s cool.

I always assumed that you used the more serious “real” name for the serious books but everywhere else in real life, you were Annie.

How am I supposed to switch NOW?! ACK! I can’t take the PRESSURE! You are just going to have to put up with ANNIE because my brain just can’t handle CHANGES! AAAAHHHHHHH!

I always used Annie because it sounds more like a term of affection that Ann. It’s probably silly but Ann seemed like someone one would work in an office with and Annie sounded like someone one would hug. not that either one is bad. I always want to give my female characters the middle name Ann. It goes with almost everything.
