So I’m part of a new blog that launched this week. Go read what I had to say on Something Wicked and make me happy by leaving a comment.

I was first!
(why do I feel tempted to add “neener” to that comment?)
Wanted to post this over at the new blog, but am too stupid to figure out how:
You haven’t even cracked the books open yet?
*sigh*
Seriously, the first three Kushiel books are excellent, very different kind(s) of relationship(s)… you never really know how or if it will all work out. I have the fourth book, but haven’t started it yet.
Probably best if I post over here (plus the other makes me kowtow to Google).
Romance? Subplots? Waste of time–blow something up! (Oh come on, you knew I had to say it.)
Actually, I’m starting more and more to enjoy “typical” relationships in SFF that are healthy and functional because they are so non-typical. Doc and Kate as well as the Earp wives in Emma Bull’s Territory spring to mind.

by Patrick June 4th, 2008 at 7:07 pmI finished Duke of Shadows and I didn’t want it to end.
I had to tell my BB buddies about it over here: http://www.susanelizabethphillips.com/dcforum/DCForumID5/1224.html
I will write a review about this on my blog. I am just speechless right now.
