Lee Ross always knew she was not entirely human. But when the man who has plagued her dreams her entire life appears in the flesh, can she give up everything she knows to follow him to another realm?
This book kicked ass, my favorite Shiloh Walker title to date. It’s action romance, paranormal adventure, urban fantasy… well, you can call it what you want, as long as you read it. I was lucky enough to get an ARC, and I think you’ll like it as much as I did.
Here’s the full blurb:
Found wandering in a field as a child, Lee Ross was given a name by the state and placed in a foster home–without anyone realizing she wasn’t entirely human. All her life, she’s tried to dismiss the odd dreams that have plagued her, dreams of monsters creeping through the night and a man, fighting demons by her side. But the bruises she wakes up with are all too real to ignore
Then the man from dreams appears in the flesh. His name is Kalen and he insists that her destiny lies in his world, the world of her dreams. To save their people, he must convince Lee to give everything she knows, follow her heart and cross into the Under Realm, even though once she does, she’ll never be able to return.

Was quoting Ann… “This book kicked ass, my favorite Shiloh Walker title to date. It’s action romance, paranormal adventure, urban fantasy… well, you can call it what you want, as long as you read it.”
And the quotes didn’t work. Oh well.
Anyway, thank you, Ann!

I’ve put this book on my “Get this” list. I’d enjoy winning one, but either way, a copy is going to wind up in my hands with a big ole smile to go with it.
And I really enjoyed Shiloh’s little blushing smiley face on her post up there. Cute.
by Ruth June 15th, 2008 at 10:26 am::raising hand in air:: ooh! ooh! me too! me too! please add me too! heehee : D with emphasis on the “please part!” it sounds like an awesome read!
by stacey e. June 15th, 2008 at 7:06 pmThis cover is so beautiful. I’d seen it somewhere in blogland, been intrigued, and picked it up last time I was in the bookstore - and was not disappointed up close. One of the most attractive covers of any genre I’ve seen in a long time. Stupidly, I put the book back down again - not because I wasn’t interested, but because my book buying dollar couldn’t on that occasion be stretched further than the Kinsale and Chase I already had in my hand. I’m thinking - I really need to remedy that on the next book-buying outing. Especially considering that Ann’s previous endorsement (Duran) was right on the money.
by Maya June 15th, 2008 at 9:49 pmThis sounds like a really good book, I’d love to read it.
