Still in Newark, waiting for my flight out of here. Trip so far is going well.
In a nutshell: 17-18 ladies showed up last night.
Sarah and Katie both stroked my Juicy pink velvet (bag). Christine and I sponetaneously burst into show tunes from Little Shop of Horrors, alarming Liz Maverick and Megan Frampton.
We ate bbq and drank pretty girlie drinks, which had a hella kick. Last night was totally awesome. I had the most fun, and I’m touched that so many people showed up. I think everyone had a blast. I gave away three arcs and some pens. Loved chatting with everyone. These womenz were all younger, cuter, thinner and sexier than I could have ever imagined. It was like Sex and the City times five, yo. (Or maybe that was colored by that big ass frozen apple martini I had before my ribs?) No, we were like the Goddesses of Flatbush last night. (Don’t correct me, dammit!)
Anyway, feel free to use this post to talk about your impressions of the meet.

My impressions of the meet are all green-colored, as I wasn’t there
Here’s wishing you smooth sailing (flying) for the rest of your glorious tour… trip… thing
by azteclady July 23rd, 2008 at 10:39 amIt was so lovely to get out! I am normally stuck inside with my nine year-old. I will admit I am cute, but I am not young–I turn 44 next month, ack! But I am young at heart. And I heart beer. So all is good. And all is non sequiturs, too, apparently.
Have a great trip home!
by Megan July 23rd, 2008 at 10:48 amThank you for having us share your time. Last night was a blast! And meeting so many intelligent and interesting ladies is always cool. Hope we can do it over :)
by Mariana July 23rd, 2008 at 3:02 pmLast night was a ton of fun!!
It was a pleasure meeting you, Ann, and all the other writers, bloggers, readers who came out last night. :)
I’m still giggling about our discussion of meeting one’s soulmate on the train… and the interest/reaction of the dude sitting across the aisle from you… lol
Thanks again for organizing last night. I hope we get to do it again sometime.

by Christine July 23rd, 2008 at 3:15 pm… and I promise I’ll master those damn train schedule monitor things in Penn Station by the time you come back.

I must say my purple t-shirt makes me look like I have a big chest. If only my butt was a bit smaller that I could squeeze through those chairs better!
by katiebabs July 23rd, 2008 at 3:23 pmIt was so much fun. The highlight of my night was feeling up your luscious pink purse. Will have to do so again next week ;)
