We're such hard core gamers that we role played... after our handfasting ceremony. We were without power since Sunday and we still met Wednesday to play. We just started a Scion game. The premise is that the characters are the children of the ancient gods. My character is the daughter of a Loa. The other characters are a child or Thor and a Child of Hermes. Lisa, one of our longest running games was a Marvel game. I was a healer/teleporter. I have such a girl crush on you right now. We used to do D&D campaigns all the time when I lived across the street from a guy who was even nerdier than I was. Pretty sure I even have my old stats sheet and a list of my collected loot somewhere. Good times, and that's such an awesome thing to do with the fam. When I first moved out on my own, after graduating from college, I belonged to a "grown-up" role playing group. Ok, we had one teenager in the gang, but the rest of us were in our twenties. We played Marvel Superheroes. I was "Victory". I was ex-military, the product of an experiment gone wrong, and had mutated so that I could shoot fire from one hand and acid from the other. In fact, I could ignite the acid with the fire after a little practice. The whole thing was loads of fun. I really miss playing role playing games with other adults.
