Top 10 Reads of 2008

December 31st, 2008 by Ann Aguirre

These will not be in any particular order, nor will all the books have been published in 2008. These are just the best of everything I read this year. So without further ado, I give you my year-end, best-of compilation.

And there you have it, my picks for 2008. In my opinion, you can’t go wrong with any book on this list. Happy holidays, everyone. I’ll see you next year.

I am so addicted to the Amazon Widgets!! I have some interesting books for my best. You maybe surprised by what I picked

Hmm…I think what amazes me is that I haven’t read any of those, and I’ve read dozens of books this year. I was also surprised to not see much, if any, science fiction. I’m not familiar with all the titles, so some might be science fiction. Given your Grimspace and Wanderlust, I would have expected to see more along those lines.

Dropping in to wish you and your family a Happy New Year! ^_^

BTW, I *heart* the “Kitty” series.

Good list, Ann, loved Rupert, too. Happy New Year!

Well, two of the books on my list would be Grimspace and Wanderlust. I haven’t read anything on your list either, although several are on my TBR pile. I’ll have to move them up to the top, as well as try some of the others. Thanks for sharing.

I think you got on to a lot of people’s best of lists this year. I know you were up there in mine.

I’m tickled by your list because I agree with Wicked Games (in my top 10!), and I too love the Heroes series. However I’ve never heard of Nine Layers of Sky and will have to look into that one, it looks like something I will like.

Thank you so much, everyone. I hope you guys enjoy my books in 2009, too.

Janice, if you can’t find it, I will mail you my copy.

Hidden, Pleasure Unbound, Wicked Game, the Kitty books – all big yes! Loved them. I’d add Grimspace and Wanderlust to that list, LOL.

What was Nine Layers of Sky like? I read Liz William’s Banner of Souls and it was just too weird so that I could never really relate to the story or characters and it put me off reading anything else of hers.
