Hey Ann! Point of interest, nothing more, but I went to go buy the book at Barnes and Noble, turns out they don’t carry it at all, not even online. I had to go buy it used (which was from their site from one of their independent dealers). I just thought it odd, so decided to mention here. If I get the book in time, I’ll hopefully remember to join the book discussion. Thanks for the recommendation!

Eye of Night? Hey, my friend wrote that book! Kudos to you on your exceptional taste in fiction. Now I’ll have to read the rest of the books you recommend.
I checked this book out on Amazon and the Booklist review compared it to Lois McMaster Bujold’s Curse of Chalion which I dearly love. Added to Ann’s recommendation, that cinches it for me. I’m getting a copy, too.
