Because the first week of release matters so much, I´m starting a second contest. MIchele is already entered! Take a picture of Blue Diablo on the shelf (while you´re there, I hope you´ll also buy one!). Email me the photo or upload it somewhere and send me the link. Then post in comments that you´ve done so. I don´t want to lose your entries in the spam folder. I am SO thrilled and excited today.

Okay, my toddler and I went book hunting today and initially had trouble finding Blue Diablo. Finally, I found it and the problem was that they had all 3 copies turned spine side out.
Here I was scanning the shelf for the cover that I know so well now! LOL
So, I made an adjustment to their shelving…hope they don’t mind. Heee heee!
Also, there is one less copy because I had to purchase mine, of course. I cannot wait to read it and hope that all my children will behave this evening so that I can delve into Diablo.

I’m going to upgrade my phone soon and *kicks dirt* get one with a camera. I’ve actually been resisting that. Too many options on a phone makes me twitch for some reason. I’m glad all I have to do with mine now is click received call numbers and hit my husband’s again.
Anywho, can’t wait to clear the reading decks and settle down with Blue Diablo!

I went to the bookstore after work and there was only 1 copy left and a woman grabbed it before me! I thought of tackling her, but I thought that might be uncouth of me…so now I have to drive to the other bookstore on the other side of town, but that will have to wait until the weekend…boohoo…

PFFT!!! I tried taking a pic of Blue Diablo at my local B&N (south of Seattle) because there were some, and I was accosted by employees who came at me guns and mouths blaring, “you CANNOT take pictures in here!” What? Apparently “we’ve had trouble because of this in the past so it’s not allowed.” Huh?
I got pissed cause really, who cares, right? So I left in a huff.
Then I went over to the Borders just up the road and they didn’t even have Blue Diablo. What is going on? I asked about it and was told I would need to order it for the store.
I checked on their system and all the Borders within 20 miles don’t have it in stock. That’s like 5 Borders stores. So then Borders pissed me off.
I was thinking that maybe I was having one of those days where what can will go wrong, but for some odd reason, outside of those nasty B&N people, so many people (way outside the norm) smiled at me today like I was giving out money or something. Weird.
I’ll go back to nasty B&N to get your book tomorrow because I want to read it and don’t want you to suffer for B&N being nasty.
