Hey, kids, it’s time for my next Easter Egg hunt, featuring debut author Louisa Edwards. Her book is called CAN’T STAND THE HEAT.
Just like in Lauren’s hunt, Louisa has given me a question that you need to answer. The info can be found on her website, which means you need to do some reading. Here’s what you need to find out:
What was the shorthand working title of Can’t Stand the Heat?
Once you have that answer, email me at ann.aguirre at gmail.com. Then post a comment here saying, “I visited Louisa’s site & I’ve entered” (or some variant thereupon; you don’t have to use those exact words). That way, I have a tidy list to make sure I don’t lose any entries in cyberspace or my spam filter. Note: under NO circumstances should you post the answer in comments.
I was lucky enough to get a sneak peek at this book and wow! You know how people say there aren’t very many awesome contemporaries anymore? Look no further. The book is set in Manhattan and Ms. Edwards brings a divine verisimilitude to her setting. The romance is hot, the food is mouthwatering, but wait, there’s more! She also works in a breath-taking secondary romance that intertwines with the first in poignant, passionate harmony. You’ll fall in love Frankie; that’s all I’m saying. Be prepared for a totally mouth-watering treat. So you know you want this book.
I’m giving away a copy, of course. The contest kicks off now, and will wrap up Friday at midnight. Winner will be announced on Saturday morning. Game on!
ETA: People seem to be finding this question hard to answer. Here’s a clue: the information you need can be found on the book excerpt page.

I’m not entering, but it does look very interesting!
Why not? It’s an awesome book! Did you buy it already?
I am also not entering since I have this book on pre-order already and hope it will arrive soon. And after reading your comments I am very glad I ordered this one. You were the one who made me go for Lauren Dane’s LAID BARE too and didn’t regret it for a second!
Good luck to all participants in the Egg hunt!

I don’t need a copy either, but I just wanted to say what a fun read this is! (Yes, I’m one of the special ones who got to read it early. Don’t hate me because I’m hooked up.)

I went to buy this book for my Kindle and was disappointed to see that it was $3.00 more for digital than paper. I guess I will try my luck at your contest now.
Wow, that’s weird.
I enjoyed visiting Louisa’s site and sent you an e-mail. Thanks again.
I headed over to Louisa’s to find that answer and then shot you an email.

I love talking food, and I love romance too. Two of my favorite things, in one :D
I so want to get my hands on this book!
Oh, excellent. The clue seems to be helping people!
I didn’t want the question to be so easy it would be boring! Guess I went a little far in the other direction. Thanks for posting the hint, Ann!
I visited Louisa’s website and sent you an e-mail with the answer.
