I’ve had boyfriends during the holidays, but none really stand out as the most romantic. I do hope that one day I’ll be able to experience what it’s like to have someone who loves me and wants to do something special for me. I think getting engaged on Christmas would be my ultimate romantic holiday experience.

Don’t have a romantic holiday memory but my man does put rose petals on the bed every now and then as a suprise if I’ve been staying away for work :)

My husband is not a holiday person, no romantic gifts or gestures. The only thing that we do is once every holiday we turn our liv rm into a bdrm and have only tree lights and mantle lights on. We do this every year and we look forward to it. We play Christmas music too and of course have a few champagne toasts to the holidays. Hopefully an ongoing memory!! Happy Holidays to all!! I was married for twenty years and I can’t think of one . No draw for me. So commenting to say I’m 3/4 of the way through Skin Game and I’m loving it. Can’t wait for Skin Tight.

Oddly enough my big romantic Christmas memory centers around getting a sweet little stuffed penguin from a guy back in high school. I can’t abide stuffed animals, but he didn’t know that, and he’d picked it out specially for me–it and the note attached to it were so precious that I couldn’t bear to let him know that it wasn’t my kind of thing. I still have it, even though I haven’t seen him in years.

My 1st Christmas married to my hubby, he bought us a set of 10 speed bicycles. The day after Christmas we rode to his brothers house….from Camarillo to Oxnard…over 10 miles and I so so tired and sore I could hardly move for a week. His brother had to load our bicycles in his truck and give us a ride home….It was a fun Christmas and one I will always treasure.

My most romantic holiday memory is from one of the first years we were married. I’d taken a job as seasonal help at a retailer, and while it was relatively fun, I’d come home cranky and exhausted. My husband surprised me upon my return one evening with a fresh tree and a freshly made chicken pot pie. Mmm… :)
